Fat Cats Events & Marketing, LLC was founded in 2012 by Christopher Coderre, a former high school athletic director.  As an avid sports enthusiast, his work as an athletic director allowed him to fulfill his passion to work in the sports industry.  Prior to his 11 year stint as an athletic director in Connecticut, Chris lived in Chicago, IL where he worked as a professional currency trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Throughout the 90's he also moonlighted as the band manager for a Chicago-based alternative rock band named Jamestown.  It was then that he realized he also had a passion for the music business.  With experience in both the world of sports and music, as well as event planning, Chris decided it was time to start his own business where he could fulfill both of his passions at once.  The idea of Fat Cats Events & Marketing, named after his two rather rotund felines Sophie and Sonia, was born. Today his company provides the best in sports and entertainment marketing, event services, public relations and professional representation.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Dayton, where he majored in marketing and minored in communications.  He also received a Masters of Arts in teaching and an advanced certificate of intermediate administration from Sacred Heart University.
